Wonder drug dazzles doctors IPO expected to raise billions for investors

San Diego, CA Researchers have found a new drug that has extraordinary capacity to prevent and reverse many common ailments. Lowering blood pressure, easing anxiety, improving insomnia, promoting mental acuity, relieving depression, and reducing substance abuse are among the proven benefits of this “drug”.

Side effects are many, and include happiness, improved immunity, better digestion and elimination, and dramatic enhancement of personal relationships. Get healthier too!

Researchers are dazzled at the extraordinary and seemingly unrelated list of benefits from this “drug”. The initial public offering to be sponsored by a major bank investment firm on Wall Street is expected to generate north of $100 billion. Insiders are lining up with their brokers to be first at investing in this “no lose” opportunity.

The “drug” is meditation. Not “medication”, but “meditation”. Only one letter difference between the two. But a world of difference in effectiveness and side effects.

Full disclosure: regular use of meditation has been known to induce happiness, better health, and longer life. Use at your own risk.

There are at least 3000 scientific studies supporting the use of meditation to prevent or reverse various health ailments:

Pick one. Use it daily. Your results will keep getting better.

Meditation is non-denominational. It is not religious. It can be a spiritual experience, but does not need to be; An atheist can meditate and derive the benefits to mind and body.

If confused and daunted at the whole prospects, try this. First thing in the morning, in a quiet room by yourself, take 5 minutes and simply count your breaths. Do nothing else. Focus on your breath. Count your breaths. Set a timer for the 5 minutes. Tomorrow try 10 minutes.; And so on. This “mindfulness” exercise is a beginner meditation. Some meditation involves the eyes open, or closed, or with music, or humming to yourself, or in silence, or staring at a candle or mandala, or repeating a mantra. All techniques are useful. Some better than others for your own needs. Pick one. Practice it. How many wells do you need to run a ranch? Answer: only one if it’s deep enough. Same with meditation. Pick a meditation technique. Don’t keep changing techniques. You will improve your serenity in life.

Meditation essentially calms the mind, eases the flow of stress hormones throughout the body, and generates a state of relaxation and peace. The risk/benefit/cost ratio of meditation is heavily in favor of using it.

Have fun.
